The four HAC sports and the club championship
Slalom racing
Slalom racing has been established at the Hagen Automobile Club since the beginning of motor slalom racing. It started in various car parks with separate barriers to find the fastest way through the pylon lane. Then it moved to the kart track in Hagen-Selbecke. Since 1981, an automobile slalom competition has been held annually. Over 10 events counted towards the German Slalom Championship.
Rallying
The rally teams have been participating in regional rallies for over 40 years. Various regional championships within the ADAC have been won by HAC1905. The HAC teams can be seen in races for the German Rally Championship, European Championship races and also the German race for the World Rally Championship. Currently, five teams are competing under the licence of Hagener Automobil-Club 1905 e.V. in the ADAC.
Classic car racing
The special relationship with ‘technical cultural assets’ began over 30 years ago with the Hagen Veterans' Rally. Here, the Hagen Automobile Club 1905 is not only the organiser, but also participates in the rallies with several teams. Whether tourist drives or rallies with difficult orientation tasks – the rallies take place throughout Western Europe.
Karting
The HAC youth group was founded in 1996. From the very beginning, the girls and boys have enjoyed participating in kart slalom events organised by HAC. Now that they have outgrown kart slalom, these young people are successfully competing in the ADAC Youngster Cup Slalom. The HAC is also represented in circuit races in various classes as part of the ADAC Kart Youngster Cup, the WAKC and the ADAC Kart Masters.
Club championship
Our club championship is an internal championship that focuses on motorsport versatility. To ensure that young people and seniors who have outgrown active sport don't get bored, there is a colourful mix of karting, simple outings and treasure hunts. And when it is possible again, there will be a gravel slalom on the club's own vehicle, which is where it all began in 1984.
